Lorna Dempsey

Lorna has been singing, dancing and acting since the age of seven.She graduated from the College of Dance were she trained in performance ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and tap.She also studied both classical and musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music Dublin.

From a young age she was no stranger to theatre having appeared in numerous pantomines in the Olympia Theatre, Sleeping Beauty, Rockin ‘ Hood, Puss in Boots, Cinderella, Rockinson Crusoe and Dustin and Socky’s Christmas Show, Jedward and the Magic Lamp and Beauty Beast to name a few. At thirteen years of age Lorna represented Ireland alongside her sister Adele in the Children’s International Nile Song Festival in Egypt.

Lorna’s television experiences include RTE’s reality T.V show,Chance to Dance, T.V series ‘The Clinic’ advertisements such as Cheese string advert, Drink Awareness and Meteor.

Lorna was a featured dancer in movies that include the box office hit, ‘Becoming Jane’, ‘Northanger Abbey’ and ‘Tudors.’In 2008 Lorna completed her first feature film called ‘Situations Vacant’ which got national release in 2009.A short film called ‘Fairy Catcher’ which was previewed in film festivals worldwide. In 2011 Lorna starred in horror movie ‘Stitches’ which was released in U.K and Ireland in October 2012.

Lorna represented Ireland in The World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles where she received nine gold, two silver and two bronze medals for singing, dancing and acting. She also choreographed the opening ceremony for the world champion’s which was televised across the United States.

Amongst singing, dancing, acting and performing, Lorna loves to write songs, sketches and short plays. She is the playwright for all Dance LA in-house productions and is currently working on writing her album. She loves being creative and sharing her knowledge and experience with her students in a fun and quirky way.

Adele Dempsey

Adele graduated from the `College of Dance` where she studied jazz, modern, ballet, contemporary, tap, hip hop, singing and dance history. She also studied classical and musical theatre singing at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Adele enjoys Irish dancing and has performed all over the world. Her previous experiences include lead dancer in Silver Dollar City, Missouri, 5 Irish Cabaret tours all over the United states starring `Noel V Ginity`, Irish Dreams European Tour 2012, and `Best of Eurovision Tour starring Johnny Logan 2012. She is also a dancer in Taylor’s Traditional show for 3 years now.

Her theatre performances include `Rockin Hood`, Cinderella, Puss in Boots, Dustin and Socky`s Big little Christmas Panto all in the Olympia Theatre. She was also professional dancer in `Sleeping Beauty`, `Cinderella` and `Jack and the Beanstalk` in the Helix. Adele took part of Irish Ferries Cabaret Show for three years running to France. She danced in two series of `Tudors` starring Jonathan Reiss Myers, and many Irish Films such as `Rosie` by Cecilia Ahern to name a few.

Adele is delighted to say she has been one of JEDWARD backing dancers for almost three years now. She has performed on many TV shows for UK and Ireland and took part in two series of OMG Jedward Dream Factory Last year. She has completed many Tours such as `Bad behaviour tour- Ireland, Carnival Tour- Ireland and UK, Planet Jedward- Germany/Sweden Tour, Victory UK and European Tour, and recently the Jedward Young Love Tour. Adele is also featured in the Music Video `Bad Behaviour`. She supported Westlife in Croke Park this June on the `farewell Tour `with artists such as the Wanted. She also performed on RTE`S Cheerio’s Childline Concert in 2011 and 2012 alongside Jedward, Cher Lloyd, Westlife, JLS, The Wanted, and Jedward.

Adele has been teaching Dance for 6 years now and Zumba Fitness for 3 years for many schools and Gyms all over Ireland. She is delighted to have her own school alongside Sister Lorna for the past 4 successful years, producing big shows such as the Minitops, Step in Time, All Ireland Variety Show and `rhythm of Seas`. Adele wants to share every experience with her students of her career, and pass on her love for performance and music.
